Preface
To expose one’s heart for the world to see is a humbling realization; for
another to gain compassion as a result of it is to be humbled completely.
This book came to fruition out of a lifetime of research into the nature
of spirituality. Several life-changing events over the past forty years verified
there is in fact a state of being called eternal consciousness. My research
was conducted through extensive hands-on practice that involved years
of contemplation, meditation, and self-analysis. Over this period of time,
I accumulated a significant personal library. The combination of hands on
spiritual practice and detailed analyses of a broad range of spiritual
theories, cited at the end of this book, provided the necessary justification
to write The Kingdom Within. The book points toward the mental process
whereby the mind is stilled and a higher reality is realized. Unless the mental
dynamics that arise in man’s daily patterns of social life are neutralized, the
possibility of obtaining a state called enlightenment will not manifest.
The old cliché “A journey of a thousand miles begins with the first
step” works for spirituality too. The mind is like a wild horse; it must be
corralled, tamed, ridden, and then finally put out to pasture. Likewise, there
are progressive steps to identify the root source of the mind and how it
evolves into self with all the faculties of sensuality. You may be wondering
whether you have to be a hermit or a spiritual scholar to find the answers.
In some ways, you have to give to get, and through this giving, you will
find the meaning of life. You must first enter the water to get wet. What
gets you wet is deciding to take action. The process for spiritual ascension
evolves naturally. Rather than wondering about the reality of this question
all your life, wouldn’t it be liberating to find the true answer? If I had it
all to do over again, would I do it again? Yes, without hesitation, because
through the process of obtaining clear insight into the nature of eternal
reality outlined in this book, you can tame the horse and leave it in the
pasture.

The Kingdom Within is a progressive teaching that will challenge a serious
spiritual seeker’s quest for eternal truth by breaking down the trappings of
illusion and misunderstandings that develop from just studying materials
without applying a method of focused reflection. The Kingdom Within
is a proven, conscious mental guide toward self-realization and spiritual
awareness at the highest levels of human existence. Using this book along
with one’s personal spiritual library will bring new life to the search for
the kingdom of heaven and ultimately reveal the great light that shines in
the darkness awaiting those who are wise to take up the torch to find that

Chapter 2
Why “eternal consciousness”? Everything visible (physical objects) and
invisible (thought patterns) has the potential for movement from one
point to another. This motion requires a circuit similar to a light circuit.
Consciousness is a vast, limitless field of subtle intelligent energy, and
human consciousness is a part of this field. Through deeper evaluation, one
will discover that it does not subside at the time of death. Like all animate
and inanimate things that make up the universe, the memory of everything
is stored forever in this field of energy. A person deposits thoughts into this
living field through the brain’s interaction with the senses. All past events
are recorded and blended into this field of eternal consciousness. All God-based
thought-forms from the past and present exist in this intelligent
energy. Because thought has a potential, a thought current can manifest as
a condensed point of energy (man) or in an open, limitless, spatial universe
(the celestial heavens). It depends upon the thought decoder (human mind
or equivalent mind) to give interpretations to the dreams and make them
appear as a living reality.....

The primary focus of the ego is to present the self as the center of the
universe. The ego desires to retain awareness forever in the boundaries of
flesh and brain tissue. On the contrary, the mind must exist somewhere
other than the body or the awareness of immortality and the confirmation
thereof would not have been discovered by those who seek the higher
expression of human awareness. We will examine this concept later. A
seasoned seeker of highest truth wisdom evolves over a period of years
until a level of cultural synergy is established, quite the opposite from a
person focused on the localized light-bulb mentality fueled continuously
by the outwardly focused five senses.....
